The company falls into the category of large and medium-sized state-owned enterprise, who is engaged in designing, manufacturing and selling railway signal cable, railway through grounding earth, communication cable, middle and low voltage power cable, control cable, and etc. It belongs to China Railway Signal& Commu.Co., Ltd.

The company covers an area of 250,000m², with building area 136,000m²,workshop area 35,000m² and depot area 25,000m². It has 589 on-post staff and specialty technicians of 270, among whom senior and intermediate technologymen are 98 and it has fixed assets of 114.83 million yuan. The company now has over 530 sets of equipment to produce and test each kind of cable and the main equipment is introduced from some industry developed countries such as America, England, Germany, etc. The company has combustion laboratory, optical fiber cable testing laboratory, middle and high tension laboratory, physics& chemistry laboratory as well as examination of measurement laboratory, all of which have advanced level of the same industry of the 21^st century.
